Terms of use

The tools are free to use. In return, please use them fairly, and treat the results as help with troubleshooting rather than a guarantee.

Fair use

• Check domains, sites and addresses that you own or manage, or that you have a legitimate reason to look at.
• Do not use the tools to attack, overload or probe systems you are not allowed to test.
• Do not run large numbers of automated checks. The tools have rate limits, and connections that keep hitting them may be blocked.
• Do not try to get around the limits or the bot check, or to make our server connect to private networks.

About the results

Results reflect what our server saw at the moment of the check, from one location. Networks change, caches expire and sites can respond differently to different visitors, so a result can be out of date or differ from what you see. Generated config is a starting point: review it, and test changes before using them on a live site.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be available, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the tools or relying on their results.

Changes

Tools may be added, changed or removed, and these terms may be updated. The date below shows the latest version.
