When to use each HTTP tool
One URL, every hop
The Redirect Checker follows a URL through each redirect and shows the status code and timing of every hop. Use it for redirect loops, chains that take three steps instead of one, and HTTPS or www rules that do not behave as expected.
Many URLs at once
After a site move or a URL clean-up, paste up to 20 addresses into the HTTP Status Checker to see which work, which redirect and which are broken. Download the results as CSV to share with whoever is fixing them.
What the server says
The HTTP Header Viewer shows the full response headers with short notes on the common ones. It answers questions like "is this page cached?", "is compression on?" and "is Cloudflare in front of this site?".
